INFANTS

Teacher to child ratio: 1 teacher per 5 infants

Ages: 6 weeks to18 months

Our main focus at this age is to show the child they are loved and cared for.  It is difficult for a new mother to return to work and leave her precious child with others.  We make certain that the care your child receives is comparable to the care of a mother.  Our nursery is designed to create an affectionate environment where infants feel secure and adored.

We provide daily nurturing activities to help develop and satisfy the young child’s curiosity as they begin to grow.  Our teachers play games to encourage early motor and language skills, read aloud, sing songs and give one-on-one cuddle attention.

Parents are provided daily written assessment of what activities their child did that day, including how much they ate, how often their diapers were changed, and how well they napped.

There are individual cribs for each infant.  Sheets are supplied for each individual child.  Parents are encouraged to bring a blanket or stuffed toy to remind the child of home.

All infants are hand fed.  Feeding is either per the parent’s personal feeding schedule, or whenever the child is hungry.

The toys are age appropriate and sanitized daily.

Our main focus at this age is to prepare your child for kindergarten.  Preschoolers will be taught to think independently, share their thoughts, and will be introduced to new ideas.

During circle time children will explore the weather and the four seasons. Children will be taught to identify colors, shapes, numbers, and letters, to include the alphabet. At our preschool we use interactive games and music to make the learning process enjoyable and fun.   We follow the High Reach learning curriculum to focus on the five domains of development.  We believe that social, emotional, physical, creative and intellectual development builds independence and self confidence.
